Mister Hitches Towsafe Trailer & Caravan Ball Weight Scales Ensuring that your ball weight (TW) is correct is essential for safe towing. If your ball weight is too light or too heavy you can experience sway, loss of traction and loss of steering control - all of which is extremely dangerous. Your ball weight should be approximately 10% of your gross trailer weight (GTW). When loading your trailer or caravan you can use our low cost Towsafe ball weight scales to check tongue / ball weight! Knowing your ball weight is essential for safe towing. Forget using bathroom scales, planks of wood, bricks & a calculator. This product has been designed by Mister Hitches Australia. Use with a Ball Weight Scale for determining the Ball Weight (T.W.) of your trailer or caravan when fitted with a D035 Coupling. Zinc Plated for corrosion protection Usage instructions included. Simply place the adaptor on the top of the scales and place under the D035 coupling.
